Warranty & Crash Policy

Bola Official Warranty Policy: 3 Years on Rims, 2 Years on Wheelsets

All Bola Carbon products undergo strict quality control and ISO testing before shipment. We provide dedicated after-sales support to ensure complete reliability for all riders.

1. Warranty Coverage & Term

  • Carbon Rims: 36 Months (3 Years) from the shipping date against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship (e.g., delamination, structural cracking not caused by impact, resin voids).
  • Complete Wheelsets: 24 Months (2 Years) base warranty on assembly. For branded hubs and spokes (e.g., DT Swiss, Sapim), component warranty follows the respective manufacturer's policy.
  • Initial 60 Days: Free replacement part with shipping covered if a manufacturing defect is identified within 2 months of delivery.
  • Months 3–36: Free replacement of defective rim/part; customer covers international shipping and duties.
  • Eligibility: Valid only for the original purchaser with proof of purchase and rim serial number.

2. Safe Operation & Guidelines (Exclusions)

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Crashes, collisions, or accidental impacts (covered under our 30% Crash Replacement Program).
  • Misuse, extreme jumping, downhill use on XC rims, or improper tire installation.
  • Exceeding maximum tire pressures: Hookless (TSS) rims: Max 72.5 PSI (5.0 bar); Hooked rims: Max 110 PSI (7.5 bar).
  • Normal wear and tear (bearings, brake tracks on rim-brake models, decals).
  • Modification or repair by unauthorized personnel.

Bola Crash Replacement Program: 30% Discount

Carbon wheels are resilient, but crashes and severe rock impacts can occur. For non-warranty accidental damage, Bola offers our official Crash Replacement Program:

  • 30% Special Discount on an equal or comparable replacement rim or complete replacement wheelset.
  • Eligibility: Valid for the original owner within 1 year of the purchase date.
  • Required Documentation: High-resolution photos of the damaged wheel and the clearly visible rim serial number sent to info@bolacarbon.com.
  • Customer is responsible for freight, applicable import taxes, and component transfer costs.
