Buying Guide.

Weight tier - light ~360g (Ultralight): for fast gravel racing and climbing, prioritising acceleration over impact margin.

Weight tier - upper ~435g (Light): for gravel-heavy abuse and heavier riders, trading a little weight for toughness.

Internal width - 24mm hooked: 28-40c at ~50-75 PSI for endurance road and fast gravel.

Internal width - 25mm hookless: 38-50c at ~30-45 PSI for rough gravel and cyclocross mud.

Same-depth series: the 45mm tubular rim ($310) is a road-race glued-tyre option; the 45mm 34/28mm rim ($310) runs a much wider modern bed.

Adjacent depth: the 30mm gravel/CX rim ($310) is lighter and calmer in gusts; the 50mm 30mm rim ($310) adds flat aero.

How do I work out the right spoke length for this rim?
Contact Bola for the exact ERD before ordering spokes. Once we confirm the figure, plug it into a known calculator (Sapim / DT) and add the recommended correction.
What is the maximum spoke tension I can run on this rim?
Drive-side / disc-side max tension is 130–140 kgf, with the non-drive side adapted to match; spoke holes are locally reinforced inside the carbon layup to prevent pull-out cracking.
Will the rim crack on rock gardens or bottom-outs at low pressure?
The bead area uses a thickened impact-reinforced layer; impact testing passes >60J extreme impacts (above the ISO 30J standard). Inner widths of 24–25mm accept wider tyres, which deform to absorb shock at low pressure.
